Please, I beg,
Don't let me dream of her on my broken bed.
Silk touch spills from her every glance,
A silhouette of us defines romance -
And Lies scattered at the doors of the loveless.
Unobtrusive, we reflect the sky,
Weave delicately, amongst the crowds,
And kiss deeply.
I never could remain in such a dream-
Such sheer delight,
Ecstatic streams through endless night.
Please, I beg,
Don't let me awake alone on my broken bed.
Without introduction my reality creeps,
Dispels the treasured ruins,
And barricades the keeps.
The once calm ocean becomes a riot -
Its Dreaded storm brings down my pilot
And Leaves me seasick, and cast limp upon a pier-
So that deep inside, (emptiness-revived),
I fear- love and hope, will not survive.
Please, I beg,
Don't let me go on with a broken bed.
I lie with heavy wrists, unable to move,
Breath in, breath out - I am without mood.
A pointless decision or feel of appetite,
I've lost my spirit, my ambition
My fight.
